Local Public Contracts Law
The Local Public Contracts Law for the State of New Jersey delineates the various procedures for buying goods and services.
The Township of Montgomery adheres to those rules and accordingly will solicit prices for goods and services through the following methods:
- Request for Quotes
- Request for Proposals
- Invitation to Bid
- Bid Results
- Public Notices
The Township maintains bidders lists by specialized goods and services. If a Vendor wishes to be placed on a specific bidder's list, it may do so by sending the appropriate information to purchasing [at] twp.montgomery.nj.us. Bidders lists are kept confidential. The Purchasing Department does not sell lists nor does it employ third-party list managers.
